One of the most recent developments in terms of prayer is the establishing of 24/7 (night and day) prayer watches all over South Africa. In the year 2000, efforts to implement this new prayer initiative began. Initially there was much interest, but during the next 4 years, the flame of interest began to dwindle more and more.
